| safety and preventive maintenance
Course Name:
Safety and Preventive Maintenance
 |
| Overview : |
Maintenance is considered to be a means
of enhancing productivity throughout all sectors. It is the only assurance
of the availability of production equipment. Without such maintenance, production
lines become unreliable and particularly vulnerable to a plethora of unforeseeable
factors.
Given such issues, production line maintenance deserves to be taken much
more seriously. Planning for production lines where operational output is
expected to remain above 95% is simply inconceivable without testing methods
and analyzing relevant maintenance reliability data. |
 |
| Aims : |
- Teach participants to use a variety of tools related to reliability,
risk-analysis, prevention, decision-making and maintenance management
and also to properly apply them within the industrial sector
- Using notions of reliability, accessibility and maintenance in order
to put together a preventive maintenance program
- Using decision-making tools in selecting a maintenance strategy and
setting up a maintenance management system
- Establishing breakdown and accident prevention program
- Analyzing, planning and setting up systems for preventive and corrective
maintenance
- Analyze and resolve issues related to maintenance
